1. Pricing
All prices quoted are in £’s sterling and are based on the current VAT rate of 17.5%. We hereby reserve the right to change the price of any product, minimum order levels and carriage charges without prior notice due to a change in taxation levels or as a result of price fluctuations due to supply issues. We reserve the right to supply products from a different origin should supply become difficult from any particular country.

2. Ordering & Payment
All orders must be paid for in full before dispatch.

•Offline we accept orders by TELEPHONE, POST, FAX and payment is accepted by heque, Postal Orders or by Visa, MasterCard, Solo and Switch Cards. If paying by payment card please ensure all information is complete before sending/placing your order. Order lines are open 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday except during holidays.

•Online (www.essentialoilsdirect.co.uk ) we accept Visa, MasterCard, Solo and Switch Cards using our secure online payment system. Alternatively you can add items to your basket as usual and then at stage 2 in the checkout process choose the print order option and then send by fax or post.
Orders can be placed 24 hours a day 7 days a week when ordering online.

Each account (online or offline) is treated separately so you will in effect have 2 accounts with us if using both mediums.

3. Payment terms
Acceptance of payment does not constitute acceptance of an order. Essential Oils Direct (EOD) reserve the right to reject an order for whatever reason, even if payment has been processed, in which case payment will be refunded in full.
Acceptance of an order is at the sole discretion of EOD.

4. Minimums & Carriage
Orders will not be dispatched until paid for in full.

Wholesale Prices
When using Wholesale Prices the minimum order is £40.00. Orders £55.00 and over are free from postage & packing charges. Orders under £55.00 are subject to a £4.50 postage & packing charge, which will be added automatically at the checkout if ordering online.

Retail Prices
When buying at Retail Prices No minimum order applies. Orders £25.00 and over are free from postage & packing charges. Orders under £25.00 are subject to a £3.95 postage & packing charge, which will be added automatically at the checkout if ordering online.

Delivery Surcharges
Delivery surcharges, in addition to standard P&P costs, apply when delivering to some regions. Please see the Delivery Surcharges section at the end of this page or for more info visit www.essentialoilsdirect.co.uk/surcharges.php

5. Dispatch

Orders received before 11.30 am will usually be dispatched the same day and sent by next day courier (except during busy periods or holidays). Please note that delivery attempts will only be made on weekdays Monday to Friday (not including Bank Holidays, Christmas & New Year, Easter or any other closures due to holidays). Delivery attempts could be made at any time between 07:30am – 17:30pm. Essential Oils Direct accept no liability for any loss incurred as a result of a late delivery.

6. Back Orders

In the unlikely event that an item is out of stock, and you were not advised at the time of ordering, we will place that item on backorder and forward it when it arrives back into stock. However should you wish to try and purchase from another source please contact us and we can arrange a full refund or credit note to be issued.

7. Amendments, Cancellation & Cooling off period

In compliance with ‘Distance Selling Regulations 2000’ you have the right to cancel your order any time from the date of ordering right up until 7 days after the goods are received without giving a reason. If the order has already been dispatched (in transit) or received, you the customer are responsible for the cost of returning any unwanted goods, unless the reason for return is due to an error on our part. This charge, if not already paid by you, will be deducted prior to making any refund due. For advice on the costs applicable please contact our sales department. If you wish to amend or cancel your order please contact us on telephone number 0161 633 3952, email sales@essentialoilsdirect.co.uk or send a fax to 0161 652 9693 clearly stating your full details and order number.

8. Damaged or incorrectly supplied goods

Please notify us within 5 working days of any shortage on delivery or damage to any product received. If the damage is noticeable when receiving the goods please advise the
courier/driver to note this on the delivery note before signing and also keep any original
packaging. We will then take up the matter with the parties concerned.

9. Complaints

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with any of our products or any service, please contact us immediately and we will endeavour to deal with your problem in a prompt, fair and confidential manner.

10. Disputes
UK LAW will apply in all cases.

11. Safety

As part of our terms & conditions of sale you must read carefully the safety information before using any of our products. This is accessible via the aromatherapy link on the home page of our web site and also sent with every order.

12. Privacy Policy

Any information collected by Essential Oils Direct or EssentialOilsDirect.co.uk is controlled by: Essential Oils Direct Ltd, Registered Office: 21 Parkside Industrial Estate, Edge Lane Street, Royton, Oldham OL2 6DS.

The information is collected and stored to allow a speedier ordering and administrative process. We collect your Name, Address & Email address. We also give you the option to provide your contact number so that we may contact you urgently in the event of any queries relating to an order. Finally we ask for your current status with regard to the aromatherapy trade (e.g. Home User or Student). None of the information provided is passed on to any third parties other than those responsible for delivery of your order. Essential Oils Direct will only use the information provided for its own internal marketing purposes if you have given permission to do so when setting up your account. You may opt out at any time by simply updating your personal information online or by contacting us direct if you have an offline account.
All credit card payments are processed online and handled by worldpay.com.
