    Description
    Size 5ml:

First planted in 2003. The crop is thriving well in our climate. Two harvests are carried out during the season, one in July when the crop is in full flower and the other in September before the winter arrives. The oils from both harvests are then blended together to give this oil the qualities of the full growing season. The result is a very nice variety of English thyme. The oil contains around 37% thymol as determined by GC analysis.

Red thyme is very stimulating to the circulatory system and can also be strengthening to nervous systems and the mind. It is also a powerful antiseptic.

Safety: The oil must always be used heavily diluted.
(In addition to normal safety precautions this particular oil should be used with extra care, in moderation, as it can cause irritation in some individuals. As always do not use if pregnant or suffering from any medical condition).
